Why this training?

Ensuring safety of trains is the utmost priority of Signalling. Many systems are introduced to achieve these feet. Indian Railways has developed indigenously a system called as “KAVACH”, an Indian Railway Automatic Train Protection. The system is tested and assures full protection to train safety. “KAVACH” is being introduced in a large scale on Indian Railways in coming years. The training is planned to groom signal engineers and designers to design the external peripheralsof “KAVACH”. All these external peripherals are integrated with “KAVACH” equipment installed at station, locomotive, divisional HQ etc. to achieve the features of the Automatic Train Protection “KAVACH”. There is a need to train the signal engineers to meet these challenges in coming years.

40 Hours

Eligibility:

Candidates with basics knowledge of signaling and application engineering. Knowledge of Table of control.
